No Pizza-Only Weekend: Why GenQ Is the Hackathon you’ll actually want to attend
At QAI Ventures, we believe that meaningful innovation should be accessible. That’s why the GenQ Hackathon is designed to welcome participants from around the world, without expecting them to live off cold pizza, struggle through the challenge on their own, or cover heavy costs just to join. Whether you’re an aspiring quantum coder, a business-savvy innovator, or a curious student exploring QuantumAI for the first time, we’re making it easy for you to show up and contribute.

Forget the stereotype of hackathons powered by cold pizza and energy drinks. At GenQ, meals and drinks are included and thoughtfully curated to keep you energized and alert. From breakfasts and lunches to dinner and late-night snacks, we provide food options to keep your mind sharp and your body fueled. And yes, there’s plenty of coffee.
Taking a Break: Free Sleeping Options or Nearby Hotels
We know not everyone wants to power through two nights without sleep. That’s why we provide free on-site sleeping areas for those who want to stay overnight, complete with quiet zones, mats, and separated spaces.
Prefer the comfort of your own room? No problem. We’ll happily recommend nearby hotels that are just a short walk away from the venue. Whether you're a hardcore hacker or a balanced contributor, you’ll find the setup that works best for you.
Our Mentors and Team onsite: Support all the way through
From the moment you arrive to your final pitch, you’re not on your own.
The QAI Ventures team and our amazing volunteers will be on-site throughout the weekend to make sure everything runs smoothly:from logistics to tech support. On top of that, our mentors will be available for coaching, feedback, and sparring, helping you sharpen your ideas and tackle challenges with confidence. Whether you’re stuck on an idea, need help translating quantum complexity into business value, or want a second opinion on your pitch, we’ve got your back.
No Quantum Degree? No Problem.
You don’t need to be a quantum physicist or a hardcore coder to contribute. We welcome diverse skill sets, including project management, design, business modeling, pitching, no-code development, and more. Innovation thrives on interdisciplinarity, and the most successful teams often combine technical, creative, and business minds working together toward one goal.
